Monster Mosh
Here's a belated Halloween treat for all you Rubber Room reprobates. I did this cover drawing for Saskatoon paper Planet X, inspired by a special showing of the silent horror classic Nosferatu that was happening there. Planet X art director Paul Klassen did the color and design for the print version; B&W art included below for comparison's sake. Halloween is my favorite holiday and it's always great to get art jobs related to the spooky season. Stay tuned for MORE BLOODSUCKING ACTION!

Space Is The Place...
This one started as a rough drawing for a record sleeve project. The project got cancelled but I liked the rough drawing enough to make a finished version of it. Kind of a different approach for me but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Stay tuned for MORE WEIRD SCIENCE-FANTASY ACTION!

More ACTION!
Due out any little second now is this 4 song 7" EP by California combo Action Andy and the Hi-Tones. Should be a nifty package with a hard stock cover, fancy silver print labels and art by yours truly all over the place. Check for it at your local wax emporium and stay dialed in on this frequency for MORE ACTION!

How Much Art Can You Take?

It's Trash!
I originally did this art for an LP by Argentinian one-man band Trash Colapso back in 2010 but the record never came out. Now it's finally on the way to your local record shoppe so I fixed up the art a bit and added in the new and very tasteful logo I designed for the hip French label Strychknine Recordz. This was meant to look like the kind of weird old religious record you'd find in a thrift store for a quarter but I suspect that the sound on this LP will be pretty surprising to any born again types who happen to pick it up. Stay tuned for MORE DEEPLY RELIGIOUS ACTION!

Early Daze
Here's a bunch of early work dating from 1989-1994 or thereabouts. Mostly published in zines and minicomix I was putting out back then. Big Break was a sex-ed comic put out by the government of Manitoba which I inked over pencils by well-known comics pro George Freeman. George returned the favor by inking my Fanboy piece, making it probably the best-inked drawing on this blog. Stay tuned for MORE PREHISTORIC ACTION!.

Wide World of Crap
Well, my book project got cancelled at the last minute so you'll have to stick with back issues of Gent, Home of the D-Cups for your reading pleasure. Here are some recent-ish drawings, awkwardly lumped together in an attempt to bring this blog up to date. Stay tuned for MORE ACTION!
