Kreepy Kristmas

This sepulchral Sanata was drawn a few years back for my old pals The Independents. It was used to hype a Christmas merch sale on their website. More weirdo Christmas stuff coming up tomorrow so... Stay tuned for MORE ACTION!

God Kills

Here's the first page of one of the stories I drew for the first issue of Nix Comics Quarterly. Sorry I can't post the whole thing but we do need people to actually buy the mag so we can keep putting out new issues. This is the longest comix story I've done in several years and my first ever attempt at coloring a multi-page story. I had a lotta fun drawing this and hopefully I'll be contributing more stuff to future issues of Nix. Stay tuned for MORE ACTION!

Nix For Kix

Here's the cover art for Nix Comics Quarterly #1, due out in January 2011. I'm also gonna have 5 pages of comix in this issue, all written by Nix editor Ken Eppstein. I'm just finishing a 4 page story called "Man Loves, God Kills?" which I think is the best comix work I've ever done. I'll put up a sample page or two once I get 'em all wrapped up. Trippin' Out

Here's an old drawing that I recently recycled into a poster for my friend Oscar (of well known Spanish rock'n'roll zine Kick Out The Jams fame) to use in promoting his garage rock radio show. The original black and white version of this drawing can be found in the archives of this blog if you care to dig around for it. Should have some new stuff for you in a couple of days. From Hell They Came

This one was drawn back in 1998 as the poster for the first ever Misfits show here in Winnipeg. Due to a miscommunication between the promoter and myself the posters were never printed, though some photocopies of the art were made and given away at the show. Otherwise this has remained unseen until now, so here it is in a newly scanned and colored version. Also on the bill for this show were local legends The Horribles with their street-tough brand of horror punk. If I remember rightly the photo of singer Andy O. that's on the cover of the Horribles CD was taken at this show. Anyhow, keep an eye out for more regular posting here from now on and in the meantime and in between time... Stay tuned for MORE ACTION!
