Made this poster a few years back for one of many, many Winnipeg shows by Vancouver-based psycho-surfabilly guit mangler Big John Bates and his Voodoo Dollz. Musically these cats are coming outta the Cramps/Reverend Horton Heat school of twangy, decadent sleazabilly with a stage show that includes belly dancing, fire eating and the retro-burlesque antics of a rotating cast of bump'n'grind babes known as the Voodoo Dollz. Sex, booze and rock'n'roll served up raw: all the things that make life worth living. Stay tuned for MORE ACTION!
